Leah now sleeps about eight hours each night and takes a few short naps during the day. She continues to pass milestones and show signs of progress. For example, she just started rolling over and picking up things, and she LOVES mirror time. A generally happy baby, Leah takes pleasure in the world around her. Last week, mom and Leah started a series of exciting classes. On Tuesdays, we go to an "Infant Awareness" class at the university. There, Leah is stimulated by smells, sights, touches, sounds, songs, and babies! On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we attend a postnatal aerobics class in a public gymnasium. Mom enjoys the workout while Leah listens to the music and plays on the mat. After class on Thursdays, we meet daddy for lunch near his work. We really like that!

Leah is growing up so fast! She smiles, laughs, coos, holds objects, puts both hands in her mouth and sucks her thumb. An alert and inquisitive baby, she's now 13 pounds, wears a size 2 diaper, and is almost ready for her new batch of clothes (in the 3-6 month size). She'll be three months old next week!
