I feel like we've been to Disney a million times now! It's just so convenient, but we're ready to take a break.
This time, we met up with two families and stayed at the Caribe Royale. It was a comfortable suite 1.5 miles away from Disney. Unfortunately, there was no Disney magic off-site and we didn't like having to take our car everywhere. Entering the Magic Kingdom always meant parking at a central facility, taking a tram to the monorail, waiting to board, and then finally traveling to the entrance. The whole affair took at least 45 minutes to get in.
The rest of the trip was pleasant. Lines were short for most things and we got to see everything we wanted.
In the middle of our trip, we had a cold front move in with heavy overnight rain and low temperatures in the 40s, but it quickly warmed up again to the 60s. It was great to see friends. The kids had the best time at our hotel pajama party!
