This was Leah's first trip to Disney, and our first time back in many years. We joined Eric's parents, grandfather, brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew. On the first day, we went to the Magic Kingdom. We arrived at 11:30 a.m., had lunch, went on "It's a Small World" and walked through Mickey's house. Then, we went back to the rental house to relax. We wanted to return to the park later, but it rained all afternoon and evening, keeping us at home. We ate dinner locally and watched television instead.

On the second day, we went to Disney's MGM studios. We got there early (just after the park opened), and went straight to "Playhouse Disney," a 20-minute stage presentation of characters from Disney's morning television lineup. We loved it! Then, we took a picture with Tigger, a character from Winnie the Pooh. Afterwards, we went to the 3-D Muppet Movie. Leah wouldn't wear the 3-D glasses, but seemed to enjoy the movie. We concluded by meeting Eric's family for lunch. We went back to the house just before the storm. It was so torrential that a tornado warning was issued.
